Technology for the obtenance of a lactobacilli preparation, having a strictly determined microbiological and chemical composition
The invention concerns to a Lactobacilli biomass having a strictly determined microbiological and chemical composition, used as component of a probiotic product obtained on media with pollen and honey. The bacterial strains were properly selected and the simplified culture media formula can reduce the product price.
The research team is working in Romania and it is trying to continue the activity in order to obtain an improved type of food supplement.
Several factors for effective microbial culture using some selected Lactobacillus strains were studied, in order to obtain a pure biomass preparation ( conditioned in a solid shape) by 3 steps of centrifugation. The copper, zinc, cobalt, cadmium and iron concentrations were determined.
The obtained Lactobacilli preparation was subsequently used for a complex probiotic obtained on media containing pollen and honey. Probiotics are containing live non-pathogenic microorganisms that benefit by developing the balance of intestinal microflora and the health improvement.
The bacterial strains resistant to high sugar concentrations were selected, the formula of the cultivation media was simplified, the solid shape preparation was obtained by a new way.
The analytical determination on the bacterial biomass indicates the presence of the most valuable trace elements which are requested for an efficient human treatment: Cu, Zn, Co, Cd and Fe.
The obtained Lactobacilli preparation was used for an improved probiotic manufacture on media containing pollen and honey.
