ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY THERMO RESISTANT IMPREGNATION LACQUERS
Thermo resistant impregnation lacquers are designed to withstand the extreme efforts that
occur while operating an engine of: electric trains, trams, trolleys, sealed motors, cranes engines, etc. These forces are of electrodynamic kind, expansions at operating temperatures, contractions at low temperatures
Advanced technologies are beeing used to achieve resins and organic lacquers (without any volatile organic solvents), having drying times as low as possible, to assure at the same time the improvement of functional quality, raising the level of indices of use, increasing the safety and security of electric traction motors and their life in harsh operating conditions (tropical climate, climate with low temperatures, environment with flammable gases).
Impregnation lacquers Class H, presented in this invention, eliminate the disadvantages shown above by using the water-soluble polymers which have: a high rigidity of the main chain, do not contain structural sequences susceptible to oxidative degradation and have enough hydrogen bridges and intermolecular bonds of Van der Waals type, showing a high thermo-resistance.
These environmental-friendly impregnation lacquers resist in extremely adverse conditions such as: high temperatures (180C), humid climate, corrosive chemical agents, ionizing radiation etc
Environmental-friendly, the solvents used are biodegradable and are not toxic;
Compatible with all types of enameled conductors (polyesters, polyurethanes,
polyamides, polyamidimide, polyesterimide, polyimide);
Windings impregnated with these lacquers show a high power of cementation at high temperatures, which is particularly important for the traction motors of class 180C;
Maintenance costs are reduced due to the increased lifetime of the impregnation lacquers;
Reduces the impact over the environment by replacing volatile organic solvents with water and alcohol;
Increases the safety of electrical rail transport and the exploitation of electric power tools, in general; increases the safety of electric motors in explosion-proof environment;
The electro-insulating film, formed, is characterized by excellent electrical and mechanical properties, low water absorption, good thermal resistance.
